The  Cañon  BEAT” is a free arts and entertainment guide for the whole family, focused on  the Upper Arkansas River Valley from Buena Vista & Salida, to Cañon  City & Pueblo and 15* other communities in the “Heart of Colorado.”

stories on music, art or artists; a column on area travel: “Off the Beaten  Path”; Festival, Concert, Hiking, Theatre, Event information and more.  Editorial content may change in  response to the seasons and to arts and entertainment events in our coverage  area. 
           
The Cañon Beat is a controlled-circulation tabloid with 3,000 copies distributed free on  the first of each month of publication to over 120 locations in high-traffic
retail locations. These include restaurants, taverns, hotels, motels, BnBs, coffee shops, galleries, Visitors’  centers, and other public places.   The Beat is published 8 times a year with monthly editions, June through September, and double editions for October/November, December/January, February/March and April/May.

music, dancing and nightlife in our coverage area.
